Welcome to the DE Lasting Purpose Foundation ("we," "our," "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, services, and communications, including but not limited to SMS messaging. By using our services or accessing our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Use of Services/Event Attendance

By using our services or attending our events, you agree to use them in a lawful manner and not to engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with our operations or the experiences of other users. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our services, or remove from an event, any user or attendee who violates these terms.

2. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and communications, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of DE Lasting Purpose Foundation or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use of any content is prohibited.

3. SMS Messaging

By opting in to our SMS Messaging options, you agree to receive text messages from DE related to the DE content you requested at opt in. Depending on which list(s) you opt in to, content may include alerts about DE events, DE news updates, promotional offers, order updates, replies to your messages to us, or other relevant communications.

  • Frequency: The number of messages you receive will vary based on your engagement with our services and events. There are three options for SMS messaging from DE. You may choose one or more of the following:
    -Direct SMS messaging/Customer Service - frequency determined by you. We will only message you after you message us and request a reply.
    -DE TEXT subscription list - Subscribers receive a daily inspirational message, usually a DE speaker quote of the day or a SIDism quote from Dr Sid Williams, our founder.
    -DE news subscription list - Subscribers receive periodic alerts regarding DE events. Frequency is once per week except during quarterly conferences when there may be a 2-3 alerts per day. Alerts include hotel deadlines, registration deadlines, venue information during conferences, and other timely messages. 

  • Opt-Out: You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.

  • Help: For assistance, reply HELP to any message or contact us at 7704389949 or info@LifeDE.com.

  • Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier for details about your plan.

  • Marketing: DE does not use SMS messaging for unsolicited marketing purposes. Subscribers who have opted in to our DE news alerts may receive notices of registration deadlines but we will not send any other type of message or promotion of our services or events via SMS. 

  • Privacy: Your privacy is important to us. We will not share or sell your information. See our Privacy Policy.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services and events are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, return on investment, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that our services or events will be error-free or uninterrupted.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DE Lasting Purpose Foundation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your use of our services or attendance at our events.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Georgia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Pierce County, Georgia.
